David Moore is an entrepreneur, comedian, and producer. As a businessman, David is the Chairman and CEO of Moore Holdings,
Chairman of Garden State Brickface, and the Co-Founder and Chairman of Sonostar Ventures. David has also served as the CEO
of Register.com and on the board of companies such as Marquis Jet, Bolle Sunglasses, and CBS Marketwatch.
As a stand up comic, David was dubbed “The World’s Funniest CEO” by USA Today, and headlines regularly
at Carolines on Broadway, in addition to performing at venues such as The Friars Club, Comix, and The Hollywood Improv. He
has opened for Richard Jeni, Kevin Meaney, and Sarah Silverman, among others. David’s Funny Business Show, a series
of shows featuring top business moguls performing alongside A-list comics, has sold out Carolines and The New York Comedy
Festival numerous times. Guest performers have included Carl Icahn, Lisa Lampanelli, Donny Deutsch, and Jim Gaffigan.
He has made multiple television and radio appearances to discuss his “CEO/Comic” identity and to
perform comedy, including on CNN, ABC-7, The Joe Franklin Show, and a taped stand up segment for The McEnroe Show (CNBC).
David received his B.A. from Amherst College and his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, and now resides in Manhattan with
his wife and two children.
